Norwich, CT (January 14, 2026) – A multi-vehicle collision on Town Street in Norwich resulted in at least one person being transported to the hospital with injuries on January 13. The crash occurred around 8 a.m. in the 70 block of Town St and led to a temporary road closure.

Emergency responders from the Yantic Fire Company arrived quickly to assist those involved in the collision. At least one occupant was injured and taken to Backus Hospital for treatment.
