Oklahoma City, OK (January 20, 2026) – Emergency responders were dispatched Monday evening to a traffic accident involving injuries near the intersection of SW 50th St and S Western Ave in south Oklahoma City.
The collision occurred around 5:21 p.m., as evening traffic began to build along one of the area’s busier corridors. Units from Station 19 and Rescue Ladder 25 arrived at the scene to assist injured parties and manage roadway safety.
Although the number of vehicles involved and the exact severity of the injuries have not been publicly confirmed, medical personnel evaluated individuals at the scene and provided care as needed. Fire crews also worked to clear debris and restore safe traffic conditions.
Motorists in the vicinity experienced delays while responders operated in the area, though normal flow resumed once the scene was cleared.
