Omaha, NE (January 23, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a two-vehicle accident with injuries on Wednesday afternoon on Maple St in Omaha, where at least two individuals required medical assistance.
The crash occurred around 12:36 p.m., prompting the dispatch of Engine 42 and Medic 41 to the scene. A witness reported seeing an older woman limping away from one of the vehicles, while another injured party was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Due to the number of injuries, a second medic unit was requested to assist.
Responders established “Maple Street Command” to coordinate rescue efforts, manage traffic, and assess the scene. Both vehicles sustained visible damage, and crews worked quickly to stabilize those injured and ensure safe passage for other motorists.
