Verona, KY (August 11, 2026) – One person suffered severe burns after a two-vehicle accident on U.S. 42 near Mudlick Rd in Verona on Sunday, August 9.
The Verona Fire Protection District responded to the crash. Officials said a minivan and pickup truck collided, after which the truck caught fire.
One victim suffered severe burns and was airlifted to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Two other people involved in the accident were transported by family vehicles.
