Omaha, NE (August 10, 2026) – One person was critically injured on Sunday, August 9, in a traffic collision along the North Freeway. The crash was reported just before 12:45 p.m. near the Arthur Storz Expressway intersection.
Responders took the injured patient to Nebraska Medicine with critical injuries.
Northbound traffic on the North Freeway was shut down from Ames Avenue to Sorensen Parkway while crews worked along the roadway.
Investigators continue reviewing the crash. We hope the injured person makes a swift and full recovery.
