Why Motorcycle Crashes Usually Result in Severe Injuries
Motorcycle collisions frequently lead to more serious outcomes than crashes involving passenger vehicles because riders have far less physical protection. Even when wearing helmets and other safety gear, motorcyclists remain exposed to direct contact with the roadway or other vehicles during a collision.
Several factors are commonly reviewed after a motorcycle crash, including vehicle speeds, visibility, traffic patterns, road conditions, and whether either vehicle entered another lane or failed to yield. Investigators may also examine witness statements, physical evidence, and any available surveillance or dash camera footage. These details can help build a clearer picture of how the collision occurred while providing a more complete understanding of the circumstances involved.
