Kansas City, MO (July 28, 2026) – A motorcycle collision left one person dead and another critically injured early on Sunday morning in Kansas City. The crash happened shortly after 3:40 a.m. July 26 near NW 128th Street and NW Interurban Road.
Investigators said a blue Harley-Davidson Ultra Glide and a silver Honda motorcycle were traveling north together on Interurban Road. The Honda failed to navigate a curve south of 128th St and struck the Harley, causing both motorcycles to leave the roadway and eject both riders.
The Honda rider was pronounced dead at the scene, while the Harley rider was taken to a hospital in critical condition. Investigators said neither rider was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The investigation into the wreck continues as more details are reviewed.
