Ocoee, FL (July 23, 2026) – One person died following a seven-vehicle collision on Clarke Road in Ocoee on Tuesday night, prompting an extended road closure while investigators examined what happened.
Police said the wreck involved seven vehicles, including four that sustained heavy damage. Officers were working to identify everyone involved and notify the deceased person’s next of kin before releasing additional information. The extent of injuries to other people involved had not been confirmed as of this report.
The roadway was closed between Edinborough Place and A.D. Mims Road for several hours before reopening early on Wednesday morning. Drivers were directed to use Bluford Avenue or Johio Shores Road while the closure remained in effect.
