Phenix City, AL (June 3, 2026) – A three-vehicle crash claimed the life of a 36-year-old man Monday morning along Highway 165 in Phenix City.
According to reports, the fatal accident occurred near 128 Highway 165. Anthony D. Dinelli was pronounced dead at 9:31 a.m. after suffering blunt force trauma. Emergency units were called to the roadway following the three-vehicle collision.
Officials said another driver may have received minor injuries. Information regarding the identities of others involved was not released.
The Russell County Coroner reported that speed may have been a contributing factor. Blood toxicology testing was also conducted as part of the review.
