Pilot Point, TX (July 8, 2026) – One person was killed, and another was hurt after a two-vehicle crash on Monday afternoon at the intersection of FM 445 E and FM 1385 in Pilot Point.
The crash happened shortly after noon. According to police, a driver traveling north on FM 1385 failed to yield to another driver traveling east on FM 445 E, causing the two vehicles to collide.
One driver was pronounced dead at the site. The other driver was taken for treatment of injuries, while passengers in that vehicle were not seriously hurt. The identities of those involved were not released.
