Pacoima, CA (September 7, 2026) – One person was killed, and three others were injured after a vehicle crashed off the 118 Freeway in Pacoima on Saturday night, September 5. The collision happened around 8:20 p.m. near the San Fernando Road off-ramp.
Witnesses reported that the vehicle went over an embankment, struck a tree, and came to a stop. One person was pronounced dead at the scene. The three other occupants were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. One was reported to be in serious condition, while another was listed as fair.
The San Fernando Road off-ramp and two right lanes were closed following the crash. The incident remains under investigation, and additional details may be released as the case develops. Our condolences go out to the victim’s loved ones, and our thoughts are with those injured as they recover.
