Buckingham, VA (August 28, 2026) – A head-on collision involving two SUVs left one person dead and four others hospitalized on Thursday night. The wreck occurred on Cemetery Road at Dana Road in Buckingham, where the roadway remained closed following the incident.
The four surviving people were taken to a hospital for treatment. Their names and further details about their injuries were not immediately released.
The roadway closure followed the collision, which was reported as the second serious wreck on that stretch of Cemetery Road this week. Emergency units were called to assist those involved.
