Mundelein, IL (July 8, 2026) – A motorcyclist died on Monday evening, July 6, after a crash near Route 45 and Route 83 in Mundelein. The accident was reported around 5:25 p.m.
Police said a Suzuki motorcycle and a Honda SUV were involved. The rider, identified only as a 34-year-old man, was thrown from the motorcycle and pronounced dead at the site.
The man’s name was not immediately released. The intersection was shut down after the wreck and was expected to reopen around 8:30 p.m. Authorities continue reviewing the fatal collision near Route 45 and Route 83.
