Logan County, KS (June 23, 2026) – One man died on Saturday evening, June 20, after an accident at an intersection in Logan County. The wreck happened around 7 p.m. on County Road 430, about two miles south of Oakley.
According to Kansas Highway Patrol logs, a 15-year-old was driving a semi northbound on County Road 430, while Maynard Unruh, 68, was traveling eastbound on Apache Acre. The two vehicles collided in the intersection and continued north. The semi then went into the east ditch. Unruh was killed in the collision.
