Highland County, OH (August 25, 2026) – A 37-year-old Sardinia man was killed, and two others were injured on Sunday, August 23, in a four-vehicle collision on State Route 138.
The wreck happened around 8:49 p.m. Troopers said a 1973 Plymouth Duster and a 2019 Ford Ranger were traveling southwest when the Plymouth crossed the center line and struck two vehicles heading northeast.
The Plymouth driver, identified as Daniel Vance, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Ford driver and one of the 17-year-old drivers involved were treated for minor injuries.
The other vehicles were a 2004 Dodge Dakota and a 2008 Chevrolet Colorado, each driven by a 17-year-old boy. The Ford also struck the Dodge after the initial collision.
The investigation into the fatal accident continues.
