Cleveland, OH (July 25, 2026) – A 42-year-old man was killed after a multi-vehicle crash on South Marginal Road near East 55th Street in Cleveland. Emergency units responded to the scene after the crash involving a pickup truck, a semi, and another vehicle on Thursday, July 23.
According to Cleveland police, a Ram 1500 was traveling eastbound on South Marginal Road between Dead Man’s Curve and East 55th Street when it rear-ended an eastbound semi. The impact caused the Ram to travel southeast and strike a Chevrolet Trax. Both vehicles then hit a nearby guardrail, and the Ram overturned multiple times before coming to a stop.
The police said speed may have contributed to the crash. The driver of the Ram, a 42-year-old man, was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. A 40-year-old male passenger in the Ram was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. The semi driver was not reported injured, while the 22-year-old woman driving the Chevrolet Trax was also hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. The incident remains under review by authorities.
