Dongan Hills, NY (July 23, 2026) – One person was taken to the hospital following a wreck on Richmond Road between Dongan Hills and Seaver avenues on Wednesday morning, July 22, according to an FDNY spokesperson. The crash was reported around 11 a.m.
A dark-colored sedan came to a stop in the middle of Richmond Road, near the parking lot exit for a nearby Starbucks. Details about the other vehicle and the extent of the injuries were not immediately available.

Why Do Some Crashed Vehicles Stop in the Middle of the Road?
