Miller County, MO (August 28, 2026) – One person was hospitalized on Wednesday morning, August 26, after a two-vehicle crash on Missouri Route 52 east of Hackler Road in Miller County. The collision happened at approximately 11:16 a.m.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, both vehicles were traveling westbound when a Hyundai Elantra slowed to make a right turn into a private drive. A GMC Sierra approached from behind and attempted to avoid the Hyundai, but the front left of the GMC struck the passenger side of the car.
Both vehicles left the roadway and came to rest in the grass.
The 81-year-old Hyundai driver suffered minor injuries and was taken by Miller County EMS to Lake Regional Hospital.
Investigators continue reviewing the crash. We hope the injured driver has a speedy recovery.
