Tucson, AZ (July 17, 2026) – One person was hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision on Thornydale Road in Pima County on Wednesday, July 15. The roadway was closed between West Flying Diamond Drive and West Camino Alto.

The closure began at approximately 2:30 p.m. and remained in place until around 6 p.m. while emergency units assisted those involved and cleared the travel lanes. Authorities continue examining the available information to determine what led to the accident.
