Sauk Centre Township, MN (July 31, 2026) – One person was hurt after a straight truck rolled over on westbound I-94 near milepost 130 in Stearns County on Wednesday, July 29. The accident happened around 3:44 a.m.
Investigators said a 2019 International straight truck was traveling westbound when it rolled over and came to rest in the eastbound lanes. A Kia EV6 traveling eastbound then struck the overturned truck.
The truck driver, 26-year-old Bryam Adrian Zuniga Cabrera of Chaska, was taken to Sauk Centre Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The Kia driver, 66-year-old Fred Thomas Petersen of Brooten, and passenger Paul Louis Turner, 58, of Springfield, Oregon, were not hurt.
The cause of the collision remains under review as investigators continue examining the circumstances surrounding the wreck.
