Petaluma, CA (August 27, 2026) – Three vehicles were involved in an accident on Thursday morning on southbound US 101 near the Petaluma Blvd S exit.
The California Highway Patrol record shows the vehicles were blocking the first two lanes around 6:56 a.m. One person was injured, and an Apple Watch notification also indicated a possible medical concern involving someone in a Subaru.
A Kia was later reported on the right shoulder near the bridge, while a Toyota RAV4 was moved toward the Kastania Road exit. A white Kia also required a tow, according to the dispatch record.
Traffic could still pass through the center divider and third lane, but the first lane was blocked for an estimated 30 to 45 minutes. Additional details about the wreck, including the identities of those involved, were not immediately available. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under review as the investigation continues.
