Winston-Salem, NC (September 3, 2026) – A man was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries after a collision involving an e-bike on Tuesday, September 1, at Silas Creek Parkway and Hawthorne Road.
The Dodge was traveling on Silas Creek Parkway, while the e-bike was on Hawthorne Road. Both entered the intersection with steady red lights in their directions of travel and collided.
The driver of the 2023 Dodge was not hurt. The e-bike rider was not wearing a helmet and was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation.
