Albuquerque, NM (July 16, 2026) – A single-family home on Bellamah Ave NE in northeast Albuquerque was damaged by a fire late on Monday night, July 13. One resident was displaced, a dog died, and another person was hurt.
Emergency units were sent to the home at 10712 Bellamah Ave NE around 11:46 p.m. The flames were brought under control about 11 minutes after their arrival.
The person hurt was treated and taken to a local hospital. The displaced resident received assistance from the Red Cross. The cause and origin of the fire are still being examined.
