Cajon Pass, CA (June 25, 2026) – One person was hospitalized following a three-vehicle crash early on Tuesday morning on northbound Interstate 15 in the Cajon Pass.
According to reports, the collision occurred at approximately 2:13 a.m. on Tuesday, June 23, about two miles north of the Kenwood Avenue exit. Emergency units arriving at the roadway found three damaged vehicles, including one that had overturned and was blocking multiple lanes.
Preliminary information indicated the first collision involved a black Lexus and another vehicle. The second vehicle reportedly rolled over several times before coming to rest upright. Debris from the rollover was scattered across the freeway, and a gray Honda Civic later struck the debris and became disabled.
Due to the severity of the roadway obstruction, all northbound lanes were temporarily closed while crews worked to clear the highway and document the crash. One person was taken to a local hospital. Information regarding the extent of that person’s injuries was not immediately released.
The freeway remained closed for approximately 30 minutes before lanes reopened shortly after 3 a.m. Additional details about the people involved were not available at the time of publication.
