Acampo, CA (August 4, 2026) – One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash on N Davis Road near Harney Lane in Acampo on Sunday, August 2.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision was reported shortly before 7 a.m. Initial dispatch information indicated a black 2025 Toyota Camry and a blue 1995 Oldsmobile were involved. One of the vehicles came to rest in a field, where the occupant was reportedly trapped inside and not moving. Emergency crews responded to the scene, and the incident was later upgraded from a collision with no reported injuries to a crash involving minor injuries. Tow trucks were requested to remove the damaged vehicles.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation, and authorities have not released the identities of those involved. We are thinking of the injured person and wish them a full recovery.
