Franklin, OH (August 6, 2026) – A five-car wreck on I-75 North in Franklin claimed the life of a Miamisburg woman on Tuesday, August 4. The crash happened shortly after 6 a.m. as five vehicles traveled south in the left center lane.
The initial review showed traffic slowed, causing the vehicles to hit one another in a chain reaction. A Honda Civic left the right side of the roadway, struck a person and a parked vehicle, then rotated back onto the interstate, where it was hit by a Ford E-150.
The Ford E-150 then struck two additional vehicles after the Civic hit a concrete barrier. Karen White, 59, who was driving the Civic, was pronounced dead at the scene. The review of the fatal wreck remains ongoing as more details are gathered.
