Lubbock, TX (September 11, 2026) – One person was killed on Friday morning in an accident involving a semi-truck and pickup truck in east Lubbock. The crash happened around 7:18 a.m. on the access road at East 34th Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
The pickup and semi-truck were involved in the collision. One person was found dead at the site. No information about the person’s identity or the circumstances leading to the crash was immediately available.
Drivers were urged to avoid the roadway while investigators continued their work. Investigators are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
