Dearborn County, IN (July 5, 2026) – One person was killed, and another was seriously hurt and hospitalised after a morning crash on Friday, July 3, at the intersection of State Route 46 and Lawrenceville Road in Dearborn County.
Emergency units responded to the scene around 9 a.m. after reports of a serious collision. According to officials at the scene, a van failed to stop at a stop sign and was struck by an oncoming work truck. One person died as a result of the crash, while another was airlifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The identity of the deceased has not been released. This is a developing story.
