Jessup, MD (September 8, 2026) – One man was killed, and two others were hurt after an Infiniti crashed into a retaining wall early Sunday, September 6, in Jessup. The crash happened after the vehicle backed into a parked, occupied Howard County police car at a Royal Farms in the 7100 block of Montevideo Road.
The Infiniti driver fled after striking the parked vehicle, prompting an officer to give chase. The Infiniti later crashed into a retaining wall about one mile away.
One man was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other people were taken to a hospital in stable condition. The three occupants were reportedly ejected from the vehicle. The officer involved in the pursuit was not hurt.
The investigation remains ongoing.
