Oxon Hill, MD (August 6, 2026) – One man was seriously hurt after a fiery multi-vehicle crash on Tuesday night, August 4, on the outer loop of Interstate 495 near St. Barnabas Rd.
The collision occurred shortly after 8 p.m. and involved three pickup trucks and a tractor-trailer. Emergency units arrived to find one of the pickup trucks engulfed in flames.
A man was rescued from the burning truck and flown to a hospital with serious injuries. No additional injuries were reported, and officials have not released the identities of those involved. Investigators continue working to determine what led to the crash.
