Fayetteville, NC (August 26, 2026) – One person was seriously injured in a six-vehicle wreck on Morganton Road near Westlake Road on Tuesday, August 25, according to the Fayetteville Police Department. Police said a Honda, approaching from behind, struck the rear of a Kia, spinning both cars into oncoming traffic, where they then struck four other vehicles.
The section of Morganton Road was closed for at least a couple of hours. The Fayetteville Police Department’s traffic unit continues to investigate.
