What Factors Are Often Considered in Vehicle and Pedestrian Collisions?
Roads like Highway 11 often carry steady traffic, which can increase the risk when vehicles and pedestrians share the same space. Visibility, traffic flow, and timing can all affect how these incidents occur.
Driver awareness and roadway conditions may influence outcomes. Factors such as lighting, speed, and surroundings can impact how quickly a driver is able to react.
Pedestrian safety can also depend on road design. Areas without a clear separation between traffic and foot travel may present higher risks for serious collisions.
