Niagara, NY (August 3, 2026) – A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a car while walking in the westbound lane of Niagara Falls Boulevard late on Saturday night, August 1, according to the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office. The crash happened around 10:30 p.m. near the entrance to Niagara Falls International Airport in the Town of Niagara.
The pedestrian was first taken to Mount St. Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston for possible life-threatening injuries, then flown to ECMC. Names have not been released for the pedestrian or the vehicle’s occupants.
The investigation remains ongoing. We hope the pedestrian has a full recovery.
