Clearwater, FL (July 4, 2026) – A pedestrian was killed on Friday afternoon, July 3, after being struck by a vehicle on U.S. 19 in Clearwater.
Emergency units responded to the crash at the intersection of U.S. 19 and Countryside Boulevard. According to officials, a person was hit by a car in the area, leading to the closure of southbound lanes on US-19 at State Road 580. Drivers were advised to use alternate routes while the scene was active.
