McKinney, TX (August 11, 2026) – A 51-year-old man succumbed to injuries on Sunday morning, August 9, after he was struck by a vehicle on Stacy Road near McKinney Ranch Parkway in McKinney.
McKinney police said Christopher Patel was found lying in the roadway after reportedly being hit by a vehicle near the intersection. Emergency crews responded to the scene, where Patel was pronounced dead. The department’s Accident Investigation Unit and detectives also responded.
