Spokane, WA (August 11, 2026) – Authorities were dispatched to an accident scene after receiving reports that a man suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a car near Ash Street and NW Boulevard in Spokane.
The crash happened around 4 a.m. on Monday, August 10, when a 19-year-old woman driving a car struck a pedestrian. He was taken to Sacred Heart for treatment, according to the police. Police said alcohol impairment was a factor in the crash. The driver completed field sobriety tests at the scene and was later arrested on a vehicular assault charge.
