Roseville Township, MN (August 11, 2026) – Deputies are investigating a Sunday afternoon collision at an intersection in Kandiyohi County that claimed the life of a 69-year-old woman when two vehicles collided.
The crash occurred around 4:07 p.m. on August 9, at Highway 55 and Highway 4 in Roseville Township. A 2009 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling south on Highway 4 when it collided with a westbound 2022 Chevrolet Traverse on Highway 55. The Silverado was driven by 22-year-old Kelly Ann Kieffer of Cushing. She and her two passengers, a 10-year-old and a 7-year-old, were not injured.
The Traverse was driven by 69-year-old Jody Marie Kalk of Hewitt. She suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to St. Cloud Hospital. The roadway was dry when the crash occurred. The incident remains under review. We are thinking of the injured driver and wishing her a smooth recovery.
