Morton Grove, IL (June 4, 2026) – A pedestrian was struck and pinned under a car in the parking lot of an Aldi on Golf Rd on Wednesday morning, June 3. The wreck happened just before 11 a.m. at 7905 Golf Rd, inside Washington Commons shopping strip.
A car lost control and hit a pedestrian along with three parked vehicles. Emergency units arrived and had to lift the car to free the man trapped underneath.
The person was taken to a nearby hospital and is expected to recover. He did not appear to have any major injuries, according to those who responded to the parking lot.
Witnesses at the scene described seeing the man pinned under a black Mercedes and said that a woman stayed beside him, talking to him until help arrived. One witness said the gold-colored Toyota involved appeared to have caused the collision.
