Sarasota, FL (July 16, 2026) – A pedestrian was hurt in a crash on Tuesday, July 14, at the intersection of US-41 and Bee Ridge Road in Sarasota.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the southwest corner of the intersection after reports that a red Ford Mustang struck a pedestrian. Initial information indicated the pedestrian may have suffered a hip injury. Emergency medical services responded to the scene to provide treatment.
The collision caused traffic disruptions, with two right lanes on southbound US-41 blocked while first responders assisted the injured person and cleared the area. Authorities have not released additional details about the pedestrian or the driver.
