Chicago, IL (July 10, 2026) – A man was seriously hurt after a crash involving a vehicle on DuSable Lake Shore Dr on Wednesday night in Chicago. The collision occurred around 11:40 p.m. in the 100 block of S DuSable Lake Shore Dr.
Investigators said the man was crossing the roadway when a black vehicle went through a traffic signal and crossed lane markings before striking him. The driver left the area after the collision and had not been identified at the time of publication.
The person was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he remained in serious condition. Detectives continue working to determine more details about the wreck.
