Whitewater, WI (July 10, 2026) – Multiple people were injured, and a passenger was killed, on Wednesday afternoon, July 8, following a two-vehicle crash at Highway 12 and CTH P in the Town of Whitewater. The crash happened shortly before 1 p.m.
A Toyota Highlander was traveling west on Highway 12 while a Ford Explorer was traveling east on Highway 12, according to the initial investigation. The Explorer began a left turn toward northbound CTH P and entered the path of the Highlander, resulting in a head-on collision.
The passenger in the Highlander died at the scene. The person was a resident of the Town of Whitewater, but the name was not released. The Highlander driver and the Explorer’s occupants were taken to local hospitals for treatment. We offer our heartfelt condolences to the family and loved ones of the passenger.
