Buffalo, NY (August 28, 2026) – Emergency crews responded on Wednesday evening, August 26, to a crash involving a pedestrian at Elmwood Avenue and West Delavan Avenue in Buffalo.

According to an initial alert from WNY Incident Alerts, the Buffalo Fire Department was dispatched to the scene after injuries were reported.

Drivers were advised to avoid the area while emergency crews handled the scene. The collision remains under investigation.
