Waukesha, WI (July 8, 2026) – A pedestrian lost their life in a vehicle-versus-pedestrian crash on Monday afternoon at Highway 164 and Lawnsdale Road in the village of Waukesha. Emergency units responded to the scene shortly after 2 p.m. on July 6.
Officials confirmed the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not been released. During the response and investigation, Highway 164 was closed at Wilmont Drive, and traffic was rerouted around the area.
