DeKalb County, GA (June 6, 2026) – A woman died early on Saturday morning after being struck by a vehicle in DeKalb County.
The crash occurred at approximately 1:50 a.m. at the intersection of Candler Road and Ousley Court in the Candler-McAfee neighborhood. Police said the driver called officers to the scene following the collision.
Investigators believe the woman was in the roadway when she was struck by a sedan. Her identity has not been released.
No charges have been announced as investigators continue to review the circumstances surrounding the crash. Authorities are still working to determine why the woman was in the roadway at the time of the collision.
