St. Louis, MO (June 27, 2026) – A person was killed after being struck by a vehicle in a pedestrian crash early on Friday morning at North Broadway and John Avenue in St. Louis. Emergency units responded to the intersection at approximately 2:45 a.m. on June 26, following reports of the incident.
Preliminary information stated that the pedestrian was in the roadway after collapsing for an unknown reason when a Ford Mustang struck him. The driver fled the scene following the collision. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash, including the events leading up to the collision.
