Las Vegas, NV (August 4, 2026) – A pedestrian was seriously hurt on Sunday night after being struck by an SUV in the 7400 block of South Eastern Avenue near East Warm Springs Road.
The accident happened shortly after 8 p.m. on August 2. Investigators said the pedestrian was crossing eastbound outside a marked crosswalk just south of East Warm Springs Road. At the same time, a 2025 Toyota RAV4 driven by a 69-year-old woman was leaving a private driveway to turn south onto Eastern Avenue. The SUV struck the pedestrian before continuing onto the sidewalk.
Emergency units took the pedestrian to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver remained at the scene, showed no signs of impairment, and cooperated with investigators. No additional information about the pedestrian’s identity has been released.
