Toledo, OH (August 3, 2026) – A pedestrian suffered injuries after being struck by a vehicle early on Saturday morning, August 1, on Monroe Street in downtown Toledo. The injured pedestrian was taken to a hospital following the collision reported around 12:44 a.m.
Detectives said a vehicle traveling eastbound on Monroe Street struck a 26-year-old Maumee resident who was crossing the street. The pedestrian landed near 610 Monroe Street and was taken to St. Vincent’s Hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening. The vehicle was driven by a 23-year-old Toledo resident and had four passengers inside at the time of the crash. The Police are reviewing the circumstances surrounding the collision.
