Cleveland, OH (August 3, 2026) – A 36-year-old man died after he was hit by a vehicle on westbound Interstate 90 near West 44th Street in Cleveland late on Saturday night, August 1. Crews responded just before midnight after a pedestrian was reported struck on the highway.
Following the crash, the man was taken to a hospital for treatment, where he was pronounced deceased. Officials said preliminary findings indicated he was in a lane of traffic when the vehicle struck him. The driver involved cooperated with authorities and remained at the scene.
