El Dorado Hills, CA (September 11, 2026) – A pedestrian suffered major injuries on Thursday morning, September 10, after being struck by a box truck near 1931 Vista Mar Drive in Sacramento County. It happened around 9:27 a.m.
The pedestrian became trapped underneath the truck following the collision, according to initial reports. Emergency crews worked to free the person.
A tow company with a medium-duty wrecker was requested to assist with removing the truck. The case was later reclassified as a major injury. No further details about what led to the wreck were immediately available.
