Oakland, CA (September 11, 2026) – Three vehicles were involved in a collision late morning on Thursday, September 10, on the connector from westbound I-580 to northbound Highway 13, near Carson Street in Oakland. It happened around 11:35 a.m.
A blue Chevrolet, a silver minivan, and a gray Ford Ranger were involved, according to initial reports. The Ranger overturned onto its roof, and gasoline spilled onto the roadway.
One person was reported to be heavily bleeding from the head. Fire crews responded to treat those injured. All lanes were blocked initially, though they reopened gradually as tow trucks removed the vehicles. The cause of the wreck was not immediately known.
